Hulling is the process of removing husk from paddy. This is achieved by the gentle action of the rubber rolls applied to the paddy rotating with different speed.
For this purpose Sangati Berga idealized and developed a new machine designed for optimum performance, durability and sanitation (SBR–SD 25), with high yield, minimum rice breakage and a relevant improvement of the rubber rolls life cycle.
Successively, the use of the gravity paddy separator will eliminate the light fraction out of the rice husks that will then sent to successive processes (SBR-SD 25 SBR-SR 25).
Main features:
- High yield and minimum breakage percentage
The particular feeding system of this machine allows the rice to be optimizely disposed and then forwarded to the husking rolls on a more appropriate speed to the rice in process. Such features allied to a constant pressure control of the rolls themselves assure a significant reduction of broken grains and a superior yield.
- Automatic continuous control
The amount of incoming rice to the machine is monitored through a level gauge. Besides, there is a system capable of controlling precisely the distance between the rolls and thus, keep constant pressure on the product.
- Rubber rolls longer life cycle
The efficiency of the feeding system allied to the precision distance control of between the rolls produce, besides the increase of the machine performance already mentioned, an increase of their life cycles.
- Maintenance easiness
The machine was studied for a simple and accessible maintenance, also enabling the rubber rolls replacement operation.
